ABOUT US
The Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (LEMC) was founded in June of 2004 as an independent non-profit social club. It was established to provide the opportunity for increased camaraderie between current and retired law enforcement officers, military personnel, emergency services personnel and select citizenry who enjoy riding motorcycles and motorcycle related events.
The Rocky Top Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club was formerly known as the Cumberland Gap Defenders. Founded in October of 2011, the name was changed in March of 2015 to represent the East Tennessee mountain region, as well as the history-rich city, Rocky Top, Tennessee.
The Rocky Top Defenders LEMC Chapter have established goals of promoting safe activities while making a difference in the community. We work on building relationships with citizens that reflect positive character traits with the principle of giving back and helping others. By volunteering, we feel that we gain a closer connection to the community and a sense of accomplishment.
